Basketball is an important aspect of my sporting experience as it requires me to think hard, speak effectively, and collaborate with other teammates. By being part of the varsity basketball team at The Pike School, I have been able to learn the essence of teamwork, hard work, and trust in both individual developments and teamwork.
Being on the varsity basketball team has improved my character Traits such as courage, self-confidence, and strong work ethics. In basketball, for instance, it is not just a matter of leading through speech; it is possible to do it through action, for instance, through supporting others, remaining calm, or through effort. This is something that I can apply to college.
